ServSafe Certified.
I will need to have a copy of your current certificate on file.
If you do not have a valid and current certification, you must take the course and get certified before training begins.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
We do a lot of lifting and carrying of heavy items.
You will be routinely moving kegs that weigh 65 pounds.
Live near South Whitley, IN.
You will be showing up to work at the brewery located at 110 S State St, South Whitley, IN.

Assist with production of kombucha, fermented foods, and herbal extracts.
You will work with large and heavy commercial equipment.
You must be competent and follow all safety protocols.
Many tasks are repetitive.
You will be working alone or with one or two other people.
Some shifts will be serving guests in the taproom and doing production tasks during slow times.
Level 2 Production Details:
You will be assisting in the production of kombucha, fermented foods and herbal extracts.
This includes processing fruits, vegetables, spicy peppers, onions, and herbs.
It also includes brewing, harvesting, flavoring, carbonating, and kegging.
There is a very specific procedure which much be followed for each step of the process.
You will learn to use commercial processing and brewing equipment, lab equipment to test product, keep detailed records of every step and clean and sanitize supplies and equipment.
We have high standards for keeping our production space absolutely clean at all times.
You will also be expected to follow safety protocols.
You will be working with equipment that can injure you, become ruined, or destroy property if used improperly.
With that said, we have a zero-tolerance policy for use of any drug or alcohol while working.
If you need to be high in order to cope with a job, this is not the job for you.
We cannot emphasize enough that this role is a lot of work, and not to be taken lightly.
Level 2 Production Details:
You will be assisting in the production of fermented foods and herbal extracts.
This includes processing fruits, vegetables, spicy peppers, onions, and herbs.
Many tasks will be simple and repetitive such as labeling bottles, filling bottles and jars, prepping food, cleaning and sanitize supplies and equipment.
We have high standards for keeping our production space absolutely clean at all times.
Production Level 2 wages:
Training pay is $10 per hour during this time.
When you are fully capable and competent in your role, pay will be $15 per hour.
Production Level 1 wages:
Training pay is $8 per hour during this time.
When you are fully capable and competent in your role, pay will be $12 per hour.
Server Details:
You will be opening and/or closing the taproom to the public.
You will be pouring samples and drinks, preparing food for guests, and taking payments.
Other duties will include, cleaning and sanitizing behind the bar and entire retail area.
Sweeping, Mopping, dusting, doing laundry, cleaning glassware, changing kegs, stocking products/supplies, and cleaning the bathroom.
We will train you to be knowledgeable about kombucha, fermentation, herbs, and all other brewery offerings.
Server Wages:
Training period is $8 per hour.

Regular shift pay is $10 per hour plus credit card tip share (guaranteed to total at least $15 per hour).
Cash tips are taken home each shift.
